I know exactly what you mean. At least twice in the last two weeks I've been unable to sleep until gone 3am, and I have to be up at 6:45am to get the kid out the door and fed. One thing that does give me hope is the kindness and response of so many throughout Europe, and how humanitarian their governments have been. I had thought we had lost that. The UK on the other hand has been such an embarrassment it's increased my determination to get an Irish passport. I thought I didn't recognize the country after the Brexit vote but it's gone beyond that. It's remarkable just how diminished the UK's reputation has become since that vote, and unbelievable that the group in power doesn't appear to realize what a joke they are considered by everyone else. I know where you are coming from. Beaten cancer and other stuff only for this scary stuff going on. Never been so angry with the current political situation as I have been the past few years. It getting 🏴 Independence doesn’t even come close or the Thatcher years. All I can see is more of the same. And now I find I am working on the 31st 😢Still I have family and lovely friends!
