Wonderful thoughts, Christina. And I agree with you wholeheartedly about celebrating special events in whatever way makes you the happiest. I have also had some brain-fades of my own at inopportune moments. My latest was completely forgetting my passport after setting off on the 5-hour journey across Ireland on our way to Dublin and thence to Vienna!
Have a very, very Merry Christmas to you. I have much to say, but I'm on my way to my daughters, though not driving. You always make me very happy, very reflective and inspired. If that sounds like I'm being a creep, so be it!!
I can relate. I call myself the absent minded professor. I have left my laptop in classrooms and had to drive all the way back to campus and almost left my iPad in the airport. My favorite was locking my keys in my car with it running in the pouring rain. Ahhh being human lol
What a beautiful Christmas message. Wishing you a wonderful time. Thank you for your continued newsletters, they are always a joy to read, Christina! 🙏🏼⭐️🎄

Oh no! Poor you! But we usually survive these things, thank God. Hope you have a lovely Christmas.
I did survive it, thank goodness, although I arrived a day late. I hope you have a lovely Christmas, too!
On my own for Christmas as I have been since the death of my wife 15 years ago. Thank you for reminding me it's ok to be alone.
It is absolutely OK. I hope you have a relaxing and peaceful day.

Love to you your Hubby and family. Xx .
What a lovely thing to say, George! We’re on our way to our friends, too. A very happy Christmas to you and your family. Xx

Have a Merry Christmas 🎄💙✨
Ha! I can sympathise, Christina. (My most recent piece was about a similarly addled mix-up. I'm sure we all do it!)
Happy Christmas, whether it's crisps or something more substantial!
I must read it! Happy Crispmas to you too! 🎄
Happy Christmas, Christina
Thank you! And to you, too.
Lunch with friends or a watching a movie on the couch with crisps both sound wonderful - enjoy and Happy Holidays!
Thank you, and to you! 🎄

Thank you so much for your kind words, Katrin. They really mean a lot to me. Hope you have a lovely Christmas. 🎄
I was too polite to point out the error. I’m getting more polite in old age!!
I’m always happy (albeit sometimes a bit humiliated) to be corrected…
I did have to look twice at the Bach bit but thought I had it wrong. There’s a wonderful flash mob of Ode to Joy that appears from time to time on SM
I’ve seen it, it’s wonderful!
