Christina, you speak for us all in this amazing moment. Having studied the Kinnock '92 experience, Keir was not going to let any premature celebration cross his face. Getting this project over the line has been nothing short of a miracle and vindicates his stance on many things including, excruciating though it has been, on Europe. You have to be in to win.

An engaging piece as always, Christina (if I may say so ;) You rightly celebrate triumph of Sir Kier's thoroughly decent competencies over the absence of any such by the Tory 'losers', and yes it bodes well or at least better for the nation's future. I have to say though Labour lost my support over their treatment of Faiza Shaheen; not democratic socialism no no no! I couldn't vote for them after that, I've joined instead the Lib Dems. Anyway, we all have now a much bigger problem, as of Saturday night Trump just won a second term OMG 😲 x John
